USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
CANDLES:
- Prior to EVERY use, trim wick to 1/4”
- On FIRST burn, allow 1 hour per inch of surface.
- Do not light your candle if you won’t have time to burn it all the way across before extinguishing it.
- The first burn sets the candle’s memory. It will NEVER burn all the way across if you don’t allow it to on the first burn. We do not refund for this issue, as it is NOT a manufacturer defect.
- NEVER leave a lit candle unattended!
- Do not sleep with a candle burning!
- Do not burn your candle near drafts, soft furniture or curtains.
- Do not leave your candle anywhere prone to surface vibration.
- Keep out of reach of kids & pets!
- The best way to extinguish our candles is to put the lid back on. You can also use a wick pusher to dip the wick into the wax pool.
- Keep your wax pool free of debris. Remove trimmed wick pieces prior to lighting candle.
- Discontinue use of candle when only 3/4” of wax remains, or if container becomes cracked or damaged. WAIT to dispose of candle until it is completely cooled.
- You may experience black smoke if you do not keep your wick trimmed to 1/4”. This may also happen if your candle is in a drafty area, or for a brief time when first lit.
- A safer alternative to lighting your candle is to melt it! You can purchase an overhead candle warming lamp, or a warming plate to melt your candle. NEVER WARM ON YOUR STOVE BURNER!! Using an approved melter ensures no open flame, and prevents combustion fallout. This is the BEST option for pet homes! See more in the pet safety section!
MELTS
- Use one piece of wax per use.
- Melt only in approved wax warmers.
- Never melt on stove burner!
- Keep out of reach of kids & pets.
- To remove used wax easily, pop wax tray in the freezer. The frozen wax will pop right out!
- Clean your wax tray with a small amount of soapy water and dry before changing the scent.
- Do not warm longer than four hours per use.
- If you find you need stronger scent, use multiple wax warmers throughout your home. More wax cubes in one warmer will not make a difference.

PET OWNER’S GUIDE TO HOME FRAGRANCE
WHAT IS SAFE?
- Warming melts or candles is safe because there isn’t combustion fallout… But always open a window to prevent the smell from overwhelming your pets. They smell things 100x stronger than us!
- Hanging Diffusers can be used if they are safely out of reach of your pet. Use adequate ventilation.
WHAT ISN’T SAFE?
- Burning candles! Combustion fallout can cause accidental grooming ingestion.
- Potpourri- Animals are drawn to it like moths to a flame. It smells… it’s crunchy… cats love to nibble on it. AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!
It is the BIGGEST ingestion danger for pet homes. - Wax melts if left in reach of pets. You must keep them out of reach so they don’t drink it!
- Diffusers that spray mist or vapor.
- Fabric spray / Air Freshener Spray.
- Essential oils that are not absorbed into your skin yet, AVOID being around your pets until it is absorbed and dry.
